What is a BluEgg Design?

Inspired by a few (read: A LOT OF) artists here on DA, I created themed eggs, inside of which hides unique designs waiting to be adopted. No two BluEgg designs are the same, and YOU have the ability to customize what the design will look like when it hatches! You can choose how humanoid or feral it is, whether it has hair, what clothes it will have, and more by picking from options I give you on a specially created Order Form. When you get your design, you can do pretty much anything you want with it! Be sure to read my Terms and Rules for a rundown on what you can and cannot do with your BluEgg.

What do I get when I adopt a BluEgg?

You get...

--- (1) Basic Reference Sheet - The ref will include:
a full body, digital color pic of your adopted design in flat colors,
a nice spread of your character's wingspan or, should the design not include a wingspan, a close up of another feature of equal significance
a color palette
paw prints or equivalent
an accessory or equivalent
a paragraph about the species as I imagine it (which can be changed if you like!)

(1) A 10% discount on future BluEgg designs should you want another.

The ability to give me some direction on the outcome of your design. Can't do anything with a snake-like character, but would love a new centaur-like design? You can request that!

How do I adopt a BluEgg?

This is my first batch, so they'll be cheaper than they would be at full price. Expect these to be priced at about $20 or 2000 this time around, or a little bit more. In the future, if these are received well, the prices will go up.

How you go about it is simply to wait until I post the eggs as separate deviations. Each will be posted with prices, permissions, and whatever else I need to tag in there, plus directions on how to buy. In general, you Note or comment your interest in buying, and I send you the link to the Order Form plus my Paypal email address for you to send payment. At that time I will answer any questions you have, but the Order Form should be self explanatory!

How long should I expect to wait to get my Design?

Per egg, I need anywhere from 7 to 14 days to complete your pic, and I will do them in order. I will mostly work on the weekend and any days I happen to have off. If I need extra time or if I'm early, I will definitely keep in touch!

May I order a custom?

At this time, no. I only have these 4 designs available for adoption and each is customizable as it is!

What can and can't I do with my BluEgg design?

These are my Terms and Rules

You may crop or edit the ref image to create avatars and banners for forums. You MUST credit me for the artwork.
You may use the image and original concept for personal use ONLY.
You may tweak the design and background of the design, even create your own species using the design as a jump off point. The original concept is and always will be mine and you must give credit for the design. However, whatever character, species, or background you create BASED on my original concept is entirely yours. If you want to use your species for commercial projects, Note me.
You may NOT remove my watermark/signature.
You may post your ref sheet wherever you want as long as you credit me and link back to the original image in my gallery.
You may not resell the design for more than you bought it for (if you resell, I require that you give your Customer the same terms I have written here); you may not trace the image; you may not create adoptables from it unless you've contacted me about it (this counts as a commercial project); and you may not claim the artwork as yours or anyone else's but mine, OuttatheBlueSkye.
By buying and adopting a BluEgg Design from me, OuttatheBlueSkye, you agree to act within the description of these Terms and Rules written above.
