An adoptable made to test a new art method, but also made because...I like adoptables, I love world building, and I love creating characters. So, why not? I chose a dragon because it's a familiar subject, and I chose the theme of "Clouds" inspired by my user name. Using that prompt, I came up with this.

The Drifting Dragon doesn't fly, it rides the wind, carried by the clouds on its back. These dragons are as light as air, and are consciously capable of changing coloration to match the clouds around them. Every five years they manage to migrate to the lakes of the highest mountains and blow in with the mist. They then eat their fill of fish, ferns, and fruit, replenish the clouds on their backs, and then take off again. Sometimes, a particularly dense cloud is actually a flock of Drifters, floating together to socialize during their journeys. Drifting Dragons see many things from the skies, and have been used as both spies in war and gossips during peace time. They are not able to control the weather, but have high resistance to cold, heat, and sickness.

You may not change anything about the design but you may add accessories if you like.
While you, of course, are welcome to come up with your own design for a 'cloud dragon' in general, this design/species is mine - please do not erase or alter the signature/watermark/tiny whale/my name at all.
You may not resell or gift this adoptable to someone else without my consent, but you may use the design to represent your character anywhere you want.
